We travelled to Rosewood in August 2019, after reading about the socially responsible experiences offered by the hotel and it's eco friendly vibe designed by Bill Bensley. Wow, we were totally blown away. Totally inkeeping with it surroundings the hotel manages to blend at ease with the trees and natural landscape while the tented rooms seem to offer a totally natural hideaway blending easily in to their surrounds. This place is total luxury but manages to pull it off in an unpretentious and refined. Our room was beautiful and the little touches like the homemade cocktails, local snacks and spa minitures were delightful at the end of a wonderful day of experiences. The hotel staff were possibly the lovliest and friendliest we have met on our travels, they were amazing with our 4 children, arranging activities for them everyday and leaving them gifts in our room. During our stay they arranged for us to do fishing, see the dragon boat racing with the locals and we even did some meditation as a family in a local temple on one of the authentic experiences offered by the hotel. The food was incredible and we loved the cooking class we participated in. Our 4 children joined in by making pizzas. Rosewood showed us the real Lao and we the experience as a whole touched our souls. We will definately be back, thank you so much absolutely everything.
